    Unfinished bussiness is correct.
I got within spitting distance of the top, but got spat off the side of the track. Another couple of runs, and I think I would have made it..........but I'd totally ran out of energy. Man I've got to get fit. At least I've seen the other side of the hill now, and it looks like miles of awesome riding on the other side.

Bloody sore this morning. The 650 takes a bit to throw around. I actually doubt I would have got as far on the DRZ. Not enough torque, and like Mark says, it would have to be geared down that far you might as well call it a dirt bike.

Good one Bryce, You almost made it. Shame about the clutch lever, indicator and what ever else fell off the mighty XT.

And Mark wins the wheelie of the day award.

a from the nasty cnut hill..
1 yip thats marks at the bottom.
    2 and mark again.
3 and bark so close to the top..
4 is me laying down on the track looking up it.
Geez that IS steep AND loose!!!

No way I would of made it any of the way up that with a 15T front and very worn rear D606! I think looking at those pics, you guys did an awesome job yesterday - that is one helluva hill to attempt on an adventure bike!

    Crikey!

Bart's pictures were scary enough. Your shots have made me feel very uncomfortable (with feelings of unspecified dread)!

Now I know I really should have taken the Pampera yesterday, got it over and done with and died a hero's death - because you know what they say about a coward dying a thousand deaths!

its got a good hard base the track, and i feel a few hours clearing rocks away, we would fly up there,,, the first part at the bottom of the hill is far worse to climb than this 100m climb...

I feel certain that these people:

    http://www.rokon.com/

have a model with attachments available that would be just right for clearing these rocks. Take a look under "Accessories".

Under the control of your capable hands of course.

With one arm tied behind me back . Not sure when we are headed up there, the plans seem to have stalled somewhat.
