Message to Mr PJafa and co.

You have some rights under the consumers guarantees act and you are of course entitled to exercise them, but you do need to follow the obligations that you have to us the retailer, ie return the goods in a reasonable time frame (this is essentially gone however) if that does not bring you satisfaction you can opt for your relief by way of a small claims court hearing, I will gladly attend this hearing and in this process I will be bringing evidence of your online actions to indicate to the court your attitude towards satisfying your apparent claim.
Thats your options, here is mine, I treat my business seriously and with this in mind will offer no further tolerance of your campaign against our product you either adhere to your rights as a consumer (which do not include public slagging) or I shall be contacting my lawyer to consider legal options against you, Im serious.
Hear hear Quasi, talk is cheap and forums make it all too easy for the ill informed to have a bleat. Its notable that the culture of blame is alive and well in NZ.

Yeah but it means nothing as well. People aren't completely stupid.

I make up my own mind on my own real experiences, and listen to others' as well, so mindless product bashing shows nothing to me, except how childish and small-minded they are.

    Move on.

Was my original point Steve, that sort of carry on need not happen and one of the guilty has since made an apology on this thread, which shows maturity, lets hope it stays that way.

At one level, still one could imagine that real maturity could have been displayed by NOT making such a defamatory in the post in the first place.
Maturity means considering consequences BEFORE you post, not after.

Shift Kevlar Jeans - almost daily use = 1 1/2 years and counting. No sign of wear.

I'd be pissed off too and even if I didn't want to discuss it here, I'd spread the word one way or another.

A separate issue is interference by moderators protecting a brand that advertising through the forum.

Interesting read. Everyone has a right to their opinion. And if that opinion is hurting someone else, then that someone else has the right to defend him/her self. But for someone who has no involvement to moderate/abuse/delete someone elses opinions/writing is IMHO corrupt and censorship as a result of a false belief of knowing better than the poster.

Now I realise that my way to only use old and worn gear that I have owned for years and I do not expect perfection from, is a way to save money, save frustration and be realistic re performance.

And if/when there is some damage/failure I fix it my self. Nothing wrong with duct tape and cable ties. And used motor oil is brilliant to weather protect stuff with! It also does not detract from my image as a relic from the past.

    Peace!

May the bridges I burn light the way.

Qmoto Jeans, 12 oz denium, more soft kevlar than most, been wearing them for three years almost regulary and no sign of wear.

And for the record their is a process for disgruntled customers, it starts with returning the goods so the retailer can see and make an assesment weather to refund or credit or replace, we where never given that option, rather we face regular slagging, is that fair is it ?
Ive run out of fucks to give
