Come and have a fang on it.
I had a 640E previously and it's similar to that, but I'd be interested in riding it back to back with a 640a.

Thanks, it would eat the adventure, as I have the weight but what do you get for range on that tank then? I see you can get bigger tanks too....
We will meet in time I am sure at some ride, so yes, would be interested to see how it goes?
Kick it easy? Do you practise? The adventure is really easy, I had to up North when the bike took a liking to the rock pools at Poutu Point....hehe
My starter had to be disconnected as it wanted to go by itself when I turned the key....Like a battery, kept going and going....
Now, I kick it a couple of times for fun....(and kick start it too)

    Kick starting?
Easy. I think you have to regard the starter on the SXC and E models as more of an electric assist as frequent use (on snotty trail rides) does drain the battery quickly.

Bugger, thought I might have got a bit more mileage out of that.

Yes.....those BMW riders must be a weird shape tho, it fits nicely all round except the waist, I could carry my sleeping bag in there as well, must drink more beer to conform to that shape!

So, before the high commander notices 3 bikes loitering around the property, I have to shift the 990, looks like Tardme is looming...last week of special price for KBers.

Rushes outside to move bikes into different places to confuse SWMBO
