Clipons I bought don't work as well as I had hoped so I will probably put the handlebars back on until I sort that out

That gixer that went down in front of me at the hairpin, was spewing oil everywere, i went off the track on the outside off the hairpin and dumped my bike and pushed the leaking gixer off the track, and the marshalls didnt have a flag out lol. and still didnt even tho the rider was lying on the track and a huge oil slick . I was suposed to get in trouble with the officials for moving the bike, It didnt happen and i saw Mel after the meeting and he said it was common sense to move a bike that is pouring oil over the track. The hairpin was a mess with the oil down from the car on the friday test day anyway. I talked to one of the marshalls and they said they ran out of what ever they were cleaning up the oil with, was so much oil there.
Made for some interesting lines aye mossy

Its fun around the 400s as they are 50kg lighter so the corners and brake markers get interesting.FZR is around 200kg wet.
Hurts the lap times no end with traffic to contend with.

work on grid starts so you can use your power against them...and then you'll be in front of them...then they'll have a bloody hard time trying to get past you. Just use your horse power where it matters you bike will never be as agile as a zxr400 ect

id rather be on your bike then a 400 though even if getting around traffic is hard because as you showed in the video, the front wheel likes to lift up that makes racig a heck more fun! -max

Mark Hay.Shame because he only just got it before round three and had even borrowed brakes etc from Paul to run it.It seemed to not go well in round three then they got it running properly for round four to have it spill its guts onto rear tyre and highside time.Bandaged arm and sore but didnt seem to bad.
They sent us out with clubmans to requalify and I decided to hang back and leave myself a hotlap gap then a super duke from clubmans went down and red flagged again during my hotlap,AGAIN hence the 22nd place.
First qualify below 2nd for the year.LOL

So you will at posty GP and round 1 PMCC the day after? be a fun weekend with your new grunt (and shit loads of it) I was going to buy a FZR1000 in 1994, always liked them(and a soft spot for Kwakas too) , alot a technology for a engine (in 750 form) that came out in the FZ750 in 1986? or were they earlier? Must have been good since they just kept lightening them till they turned into R1s

Main goal is to have it together and run in for the tri series.Have to save another 2.5thou for the remaining parts and carbs before end of November.
Got half the bits so far.Its using oil so just want to protect my 28 points lead in winter series.

I have 3 already.Tires free and parts and bikeshop labour cheep but engine rebuild and carbs will hit 4g+ and have already done ohlins and emulators, new ebc discs, full brake rebuild, paintjob, bling bits and lightweight things, oil cooler relocate, rearsets, yoshi headers, cycle works custom muffler and dyno work etc so has been expensive year.Engine rebuild and fcrs should see it finished other than minor work and maintence.
