have searched for all churches in the welly region but havent been able to match those steeples in the background...

Apologies for the riders far far away, but I didn't feel like braving the wind tonight. No gravel or private road, but possibly a few fishes and a kayak or two nearby (especially on Thursdays).

Well done! I thought the monastery was a famous enough landmark in Wellington to only show the tips. The restaurant sign was there to help determine the location of the shot.

The kayak reference was from a past life: the Vic uni kayak club practices at Freyberg every Thursday. A hard clue, I admit, but then I thought the monastery and the restaurants would be enough to help out anyway.

The pic was taken with a small tripod and a 2 seconds shutter delay, which is the best way I have found to fight the dark.
