    Nordie is refering to Des Malloy from "The Last Hurrah" an old fella with a shed full of real old bikes & cars in Golden Bay has one of these he's doing up. Seemed really out of place at first however when you look at his other bikes they are other great designs. Guess it doesn't matter what age a cool bike is a cool bike.

    yea front wheel drive, no brakes and the only way to start them is to lift up the front wheel and spin it.
    definitely NOT cool.
    I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

    Yeah, but just imagine the hurdles the guy had to jump to make that thing work. I think it's cool because of the complexity. With the materials available at the time, he's even whackier than John Britten.

    It's ugly but I like it.

    Radial motor in a bike. Thats kinda cool cause of the techy factor. Lotsa torques.

    Not so sure about the modern take on it though. Bet this thing takes a bit of keeping upright. Might explain the width of the rear tyre.

    First we had the Croc sandals......

    Now we have the CROC BIKE

    (Both as hideous as each other......lol)

    Only in America Kinda cool but kinda ugly, would turn a few heads at least.....
