The greens wanted a token Maori as co-leader!
Image is more important than hard work and loyalty!
Sue threw her toys out of the cot and left! (loyalty has it's price)
That will teach them, says Sue, they will be sorry they did that to me!
Equal opportunity is a "Green party philosophy", it appears some are more equal than others!
And these people profess to tread the moral high ground of politics!![]()

She certainly has (just) reached her full entitlements for MPs perks like well paid superannuation, air travel and so on. And they all, even only slightly left perkbusters Hyde and Douglas seem to have a VERY firm grip on their ENTITLEMENTS.
Ms. Bradford will do the greens no harm in leaving. She had no interest in the environment, conservation or things green.
Bradford saw the greens as sufficiently naive to allow her to reach a position where she could pursue her marxist policies - indeed green policy appears to have slipped down this road headfirst.
David must play fair with the other kids, even the idiots.
Nah. Get the occasional ear ringing from the megaphone at the rent a mob protests she always turned up at...
At least he was actually voted in.....
Bwahahahahaha.... That would have been a good bit of humour....
Or did the door smack her on the arse on her way out?
[QUOTE=short-circuit;1129425563]He'd be in the same category as Graham (police prosecutor / upright christian / child molestor) Capill
Huh??? Don't you mean, Police "prosecuted?"
And good on him for that. I bet she timed it "just right....."
Hmmmm.
But I could be wrong......
Oops... Davereid posted while I was typing.
As you were......
Sort of agree with you on this. Bradford was too polarising and she was more into social issues other than green ones. One example was her leading the buy NZ made campaign for which she was bagged. I could never understand that but on reflection this may have had more to do with her style of politics other than advancement of NZ industry. Tandor on the other hand made the play for third world products and I suspect there was some discord over this in green circles
It's difficult to say what part Metiria Turei and being Maori had on her success as winning co-leadership but given that the greens have never made a play for the Maori vote I would on this score disagree.
I have no reason to suspect that Bradford's reason for quitting is other than what she has said...............but some in my political circles suspect that the death threats that she has recieved may have played a part. Who knows.
As for the moral high ground, the Greens do not claim this more than any other party. All see themselves as principled but oddly enough it is the voter who sees him/her self as the most.
Like I said OR sort of.

Previous career of nothing? Have you not seen her footage from the 80's and 90's protests being dragged away on all fours by the policie
Unemployable in the real world? There are thousands of greenies/activists and many organisations that I am sure would love to have her on board.
Freedom she took away from you? Of what? You don't want to beat kids do you? And if you don't then you don't have anything to worry about at all.
There are provisions/exceptions in the law mate. A little tap on your kids hands won't put you in jail.
Epitome of evil? You're completely missing the point here. She initiated the idea/bill. It doesn't take 1 person in parliament out of the hudreds to make legislation/laws.
If you look back I think a whooping 117 or 118 voted in favour of and there was only a handful of people who said no to it.
It's a democratic process, she's not single handily responsible for it.
You'd tap that cunt Indysucky sucky time baby
If people think she is the real culprit in the anti smacking law here's something to ponder on:
Jenny Shipley initiated the idea/bill of reducing the drinking age to 18 back in 98 or 99. No one seems to be hammering National/Jenny Shipley for that.
What do you think has impacted or will have more impact in our society, 18 19 year olds drinking till they are plastered and causing trouble and crippling our health system or the anti smacking laws?
All the trough dwellers know how to work the "entitlement" system! It's what they do best!
Anyway, the majority of New Zealanders are practicians of "entitlement" as opposed to "earning" their way through life!
(IMHO) If Bradford returns to politics, she will do it under a Labour ticket!
She is tailor made for Labour! They will welcome her with open arms!
Probably tempt her with ministerial offerings, may even be signed and sealed as we speak!![]()
