The first corner was dodgy no doubt but after that I dont see that much of a problem. Camera views are restrictive, the rider has a much larger field of view and is higher up to boot. Most of the corners that look a little blind prolly had reasonable visiblity around them.

The 12 appeared to suffer engine lock from knocking down a few cogs too many rather than over aggressive rear brake.

The lines may not be the best, but, it aint a racetrack and sometimes there are reasons for not holding the perfect line, be it shit on the road, looking for better visibility, passing a car, yadda yadda.

Looked like great fun to me.

The rear lockup is pretty hilarious, bet that was a pucker moment to be sure.

It looks like he was leaning his body out of the corners though? I thought the idea was to lean into the corner so there is more of your weight on the inside so the bike can be more upright?

Shifting your body around shouldnt really be neccessary on the road, I find usually weighting the outside peg, gripping the tank with my knees and a nice relaxed hold on the bars is enough.

Ooooh, is someone scared they'll get overtaken or shown up by a rider who isn't as 'cool' as they are cause they're not in the latest Flouro leather gear riding a crotch rocket?

Whats wrong with a rider enjoying their bike, whatever it is?

    What a dick.

Good on you Eddie. These guys are having fun.
Who gives a fat rats ass what they're riding or what they're wearing?
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Possibly me if he locks that back up again and wobbles in my direction

When I see riding like that (and I would imagine that it's reasonably common on any given weekend around the country) it does make me feel that those riders have what's coming to them sooner or later.

I still don't see why riders feel the need to bare their balls when it comes to putting others at risk from a poor judgement call or bike malfunction.

Seeing a rider cross that centreline like that I would find it very hard to feel guilty if my car bonnet collected a flying bug wearing leather or cordura. The unacknowledged problem is that I'm just as likely to be the "crash statistic" when they fly into the front of my car (or worse, smacking the front of my bike in).

Blah Blah Blah, I could go on, but you've heard it all before.

That's what I noticed. Even though he seemed to be sticking his knee out on the corners a bit, he was leaning the bike in, rather than leading with his shoulder (and/or getting off the seat a bit). Not the greatest cornering technique.

But I wonder how many of us would fare if we were filmed like that? What poor technique(s) would be revealed?
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

It's called "not being a posuer"

I did not see anything particularly reprehensible about the riding.
