oh well who ever wants to go through..sort out a free weekend for all.

im not to worried when we do it. try find a fine weekend...

Joe - does this work for you?
If so would you be able to sort out a key?

Plan being to come in from the coast. Go down cnut and for the hard boys to come back up and possibly exit via the coast again?

I do believe bigger bikes may struggle going down cnut (I wouldn't take the klr down there) so maybe the bigger bikes may want to turn around at the top of cnut and return to coast?

open to suggestions

I just want to get up that friggin hill

Sunday 18th

prolly meet at Toppy's at 9.30?

we'll have to come up with 2 options

1/ if we get the key - in which case we can go in from the coast
2/ if we can't get the key - in which case we'll go in from Sutherlands hut.

I'm quite comfortable with option 2 as IF we get up the top of Cnut we can ride to the coast and then retrace our steps - which makes for much less road miles than looping out to the coast and coming through the gate back in.

That is a fairly big IF though.

I'll prolly leave Pram about 8ish and go via the Aka's (resisting the strong temptation to turn left at the summit)

I did some pre-ride hill climbing testing on the DT yesterday....

the rear indicators werent impressed
