Yeah yeah...everyone thinks they're the ducks nuts when it comes to cracking funnies.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    Hi Paul.............Hi Steve
Yep its not only bikers this nice weather brings out its the 'Sunday drivers' too.
Classic example of 'expecting the unexpected' by preparing youself, coming to the brow of a hill well to the left incase some dickhead is doing exactly what he did. Good instincts and reactions mate

It was a 17 yr old bretheren hotshot in a subaru racing another bretheren in a subaru who killed the biker up near wellsford. WTF do they teach them in their churches these days.

The same thing happened to a mate and he hit the car's mirror with his hand. Nearly broke it, he was in a lot of pain for sure but glad he was on the bike, or like you, would have had a head-on!

    Happens all the time though

Nature of our licensing system and lack of good drivers

I expect it, in fact I am surprised it doesn't happen more frequently

They finally saw the light, and were blinded by it.

Good work Beyond. Obviously still some margin left in there ay.

Wow. This is a revelation. I had no idea of my physical condition . . . .

As a happy longterm Subaru Legacy owner (oh dear, it's even got a turbo, so that's even WORSE), I harbour a similar view of those who own gangsta-spec vehicles, and anything with abnormally loud doof-doof cr@p on board . . . . .

So let's see, if we follow the logic displayed thus far in order to avoid regrettable incidents like Beyond's, perhaps we should ban all Subaru Legacy's. Yep, the roads will be MUCH safer. Frankly, that is totally irrational. It wouldn't have mattered what the car driver was in, it's not the car's fault.

Sadly it appears that many folk here can't figure that out.

    I don't support banning Legacys.

If you ban them, it will become harder to spot the drongos on the road.
The greatest pleasure of my recent life has been speed on the road. . . . I lose detail at even moderate speed but gain comprehension. . . . I could write for hours on the lustfulness of moving swiftly.

Go & buy a lotto ticket mate. It's murderous shit heads like that, that totally negate being a good rider. Makes my blood boil. A WRX with the usual mentally slow driver had a crack at staying with me yesterday on a very windy road. Where did they catch me up? On the only stretch of road with blind drive ways, kids, dogs & cyclists. Moron made no attempt to slow down. Anybody know how to fit a rocket launcher to a bike?
