Hey welcome to KB. Good luck with the bike finding, FXRs are fine little learner bikes, and you can always sell it to me cheap when you trade up as a second bucket racer![]()

Hey welcome, good luck with all the buying and learning and riding and stuff.

Welcome Haymaker!
It's up to you whether you choose the FXR or a 250cc. I have one and she is a beautiful little bike, and great fun! I'm still on my learner's and have only had the chance to ride in winter so I'm looking forward to the long summer rides!
I know for a fact that in the right hands an FXR can easily lead a 250 ride, as they are light and easy to flick around corners, and after all, that's mostly what motorcycling is all about!
I've been riding nearly half a year and I haven't felt the need to upgrade yet. Sure, it may be harder to pass cars on an FXR, but if you're just learning I wouldn't recommend that anyway
Have fun and look forward to meeting you! I live in central.
Oh I saw you at the pink ribbon ride! Awesome wig!
A Kb lady out this way is selling her FXR150. I'd argue that in most situations the FXR is as good as any learner oriented 250.
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

I'm still waiting for the boobie photo's...
Very true, thanks for the advice
More details please? Although I may put off purchasing for a little while now, see how this ACC levy proposal pans out, and save up a bit more. Have also still yet to sit my BHS and learners test..
Sorry, you won't be seeing any![]()
