I think Les did a stirling job. 99.5% of the non biking public will probably look at us now in a slightly different light and I think having a average joe looking guy that was able to state facts clearly without an ummm or an arrr like Dr ACC is excatly what we need now. I have already recieved quite a few supportive txt messages from non biker associates saying positive things about the segment on TV. Interesting to get the data we need.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
Yeah, we can all sit around and blow smoke up Ixions arse all night if we like.
Don't be mistaken. Most of you are fighting for a few extra dollars being taken out of your pockets. Some of us are fighting for a whole lot more.
All I'm saying is we need the best person for the job. If you don't like my opinion tough shit.
only read up to ^quasies post(bling sent)so sorry if I missed somthing, but im not wasting 5 minutes of my life reading that crap
congrats lee.j! 1st farrking post and ya managed to piss a shit load of people off, you must be an extremly tallented troll or a regular shit stirers alter-ego
Good job Ixion. I bet you were bricking yourself before the broadcast, but you came across really well.
Keep it up. Youve got my support.
For someone claiming to have a livelihood at stake you've got a bloody weird way of trying to get people to support/help you. There is somebody out there doing just that and all you can do is complain.
Why not get of your lazy whingeing ass and do something instead of complaining about those that are ffs!
None to bright, are you Graham?
I'm not trying to get anyone on here to support me. Any motorcyclist that doesn't oppose what ACC are proposing would be rather out of the ordinary.
We need to get the general public to support us. That is the whole idea of media coverage. I feel that there must be a better spokesperson for our cause.
Problem is, it would be very difficult to get 15 mins of air time of popular programmes like close up and cambell live when they only run 30 mins (including ad).
Maybe in other channels like Maori TV or Asia Down Under or something. But the exposure we've got in terms of Air Times, so far is very impressive.
