    good on you mum!!!

On a finer note.. surely ACC and those that be... are making bikers more aware to cages by the new levies....

the weekend is not over, and already one cage has put a biker and a child in hospital... www.xtra.co.nz tonight... my thoughts with them both!

Stay safe tomorrow... as its forecast for thunder storms...

I think I might continue to ride with him and discuss our rides encouraging good riding habits and risk assessment. (Plus reminding him that he can't power himself out of trouble on a ginny compared to the litre bike setting the tempting example he saw today).

So far so good , despite the wonderful condition of some of our roads I encountered. But then there is still tomorrow, maybe I should take the cage.

Early indications from a Serious crash Unit analysis are that a southbound car intending to turn across the highway was shunted in the rear, forcing it into the path of a northbound motorbike.
sounds like a tailgater... but they are not dangerous according to a few on here

lots of bikes around for the Greymouth street races, sounds like may have been a group ride heading there/coming home.
