I'm going to miss this one unfortunately Sarge. I had a visitor while I was out riding yesterday, so today may be a day for mending bridges!

Was fun yesterday and today, headed up to Hawera, organised to stay with a mate and have a few beers and meal, then as about to leave little bro phones, says dad expecting us for tea seeing we're heading north,so ring mate sorry can't stay for tea etc, feel stink to arrive, then go and sleep in caravan. He ok,even said to take his ute to visit another mate, saves putting bike gear on,choice.

So away we go for tea after several stellas and steinies, more beers at dads in celebration of my hatching day Saturday, get home to mates place about 10.30pm,mates son has a few mates, they're having a feed, the father enjoying himself, had a coffee and off to bed.

Beautiful morning today,no cloud, then wind died, couple of coffees and left about 10am,stopped at Bulls for coffee, due to pillion seat user having sore bum lol. While there 2 out of 3 cops seen drove passed.Great weather to travel, and only one idiot driver in a pissy Daihatsu mini car trying to be mobile chicane from Feilding turn off to Newbury,so zipped passed.

And although never ,ever a huge fan of Harleys,in mates shed was a brand new fatboy, beaut colour Blue and 1000KM,the bastard came to Palmy Saturday to pick it up in his van,we passed each other when we had car and trailer trip.He fired it up,standard pipes and sounds bloody nice, why the fark do harley owners put pipes on them, this sounds sweet, can hear the engine ticking over, and when revved is impressive,he had a boulevard with vince and hanes pipes on and sounded way loud.

Well Balzy quite surprised me....He agreed with Rottiguy & Owl....BUT he did say "get between those legs and expect to be cracked like a wallnut!!" He seamed to be more interested in the bikes & he loves the shoes

That bloody lid of yours, saw you on way to dump, saw bike and thought yep is you, then she who is obeyed said yep saw the helmet and knew, doh,I looked at bike thought yep maybe Al,she looked at lid definately Al,she is learning quicker than me.

And bike enjoyed it too, filled up in Waverley as last light blinking so had been on last 5 ltrs from just before Whanganui, put in 15ltrs so need to run till empty to figure out, when fuel icon blinks have 1.5 ltrs, but not keen to see how far left(should be 40km),got home 210km later and on 2 bars still,so looks like range 360km solo, and 330km 2 up.Seat needs attending to,pillion does anyway, but sheepskin and foam works better, will add more foam.

Happy birthday for the other day Tony

Excellent weekend in Auckland-got to see my big bros Duc'-very nice. He has done an excellent job on the restoring of the rear end and pipes look very cool, sound even better!! I have dibbs on a ride soon-(Al looked pretty hot on it too).

We got smashed in the hockey and I even got in the sinbin for hitting someone in the head with my stick...honest mistake...really. Quick trip but nice to get away. The rest of the weekend was study, lawns and kid time...life is good

Looking forward to taking the bike to welly for its first service in time for the 1000k yippee.

Oh dear, another sad little post from the man who thinks sarcasm is wit.
