I love this place we live in. I work Mon - Fri in Auckland but most weekends I'm outa here! At the beach, at the track, out on my bike, out in the camper, out on the boat and most time with my fantastic family right along side. Its easy to get down with the day to day grind but my moto is "I work to live not live to work" I turn up each day just so I can do the things I enjoy with the people I enjoy being with. I cant think of a better country to do it in either (and I've been to quite a few)

Oh bravo to that, fairly well travelled my self but sometimes ,maybe down a country lane in the back of beyond, sometimes, I have to pinch myself, just to be absolutely sure that I'm really here and not just dreaming it in a cold n wet semi detached in gloomy old Englandshire.

Reminds me of some of the posts from poms on the TL site, been a member on there for years, plenty of poms (good buggers to) and from time to time thread conversation gets off bikes and onto random shite, years back it got really random and buggers all over the world were posting up pics of there backyards,i live in a completly normal 3 bedroom Kiwi house with a fairly large backyard (plenty of trees etc)all the English guys were convinced i was some kind of rich buggersadly not.

I can see that mate, I have a virtual mansion overlooking the sea here for the same price as my ex council semi in overcrowded, wet cold gloomyville city UK.

Yet another reminder how lucky I am to be here, you'd have to have in the region of $1,800,000 to have the equivalent of my house back there, mind you it would come with a lovely view of a chip shop or the gas works or a Mosque.
    Oh bugger

Funny 'cause on the wharf I was talking to a french couple on their honeymoon and they were saying how cool it is here (which is why they are here on their honeymoon). The guy told me he was going 'wolfing' i think he may of meant hunting with dogs. They started kissing infront of me and his mrs was damn fine, how ironic as they are french, haha
    Thats whats up.
