RDjase, for stripping the entire electrics from his bike and mailing them down, the stator was the issue.
One last thanks to Mrs DC and girls for taking care of our sprog while we raced.

Brilliant day, sun burnt to prove it, an exceptionally well run meeting which had me on the 2nd row all day. Great riding by Kevin Orr and James Hoogie. and I'd have to say that the last bucket race will most likely be the only time I will ever beat ALL 3 HOOGIES.
Glad to help out D . Great you got the bike sorted with 10 minutes to spare

    Hey marty

No mate, been to the doc, cant do sweet FA with it untill the bone heals. lots of bruising on my chest. Doctor concerned about soft tissue damage. The bone feels good, i can feel where its fused together but my trapezius muscle feels like someone is stabbing me from the inside out whenever i try lift it. x-rays again on the 22nov, one month from crash. Im lucky i just broke my collarbone, have you seen the video on you tube.

Just a quick update for those interested. We had our post race debrief last week and the committee were exceptionally happy with the event this year. we have addressed the issues on ambulance/fire on the circuit too soon, the odd flag marshal indiscretion and spectator access. All and all it was a great success. If anyone has any Constructive criticisms then dont be afraid to let me know. Rider and spectator input helps improve our event.

For the first time since 2005 we charged an entry fee. So we actually made a profit!!!! Once we pay all our flag marshals, set up crews and general accounts etc we intend reinvesting some money on our track safety. safety of riders and spectators is a high priority. We have also arranged for quotes for 40ft containers to use as walk overs to get people to and from the inner and outer circuit quicker, It will get rid of the time spent opening gate crossings and ultimately increase the number of laps for riders.

again, any constructive criticism - Steven_hyde74@hotmail.com
(*note underscore after steven, not a space)

I will table them at the next committee meeting

    cheers, steve

Only improvement I would make is give the buckets twice as many races and let them use the motard section every second race!

oh come on kirk, its hard enough rolling the dirt section in-between races let alone running a rake through it to remove stuck buckets
