Come down Glover road on the way thru Hawera !!
Anyone have any idea if anything has been organized for Wanganui riders?
Went back a few pages, Didn't see anything.
How bout meeting in the rest area over the bridge south of wanganui and joining in as the ride comes through. Bout 0815.
I will not be doing the trip to Wellington due to health reasons - I'm gutted about it. Essentially an ongoing sinus problem would see me feeling too rough to safely participate in the ride on parliament so I've decided to save myself and others the risk of doing so.
Do your best to monster the pollies without pissing off the public and ride safe.

If anybody is interested in a protest T-shirt I have a spare one. Good secondhand size L black Tshirt printed (by Mimic) with the "Who's Next" logo on the back. As modelled by yours truly on the Naki Bikeoi, it does stretch to fit over leathers. $20 (cost) PM me if interested.
Sweet, The plan I have come up with is to wake up,have a coffee, hit the road.
Figure I'll catch up with some sort of group along the ways that would be too big to pass....
To everyone from the 'Naki who rode to Wellington today, and to those that helped us get there - thanks. When our convoy from Avalon linked into the SH1 convoy at Ngauranga, it was simply mind-blowing to see all those machines on the motorway. Just remember, as Les said, today is just the beginning. The sabre rattling is over. Now the battle begins.

I'm still buzzing out on the whole day.
I went down the day before, expecting some people to drop out cause of the weather, but when i saw how fine it was yesterday,i couldn't have been more happy.
Especially when you saw all the bikes gathered together.
Interesting approach put forward by Mom to park out areas of Auckland with motorbikes as a disruptive protest so what opportunity do we in the Naki have to do a similar protest, perhaps even as part of a synchronised nationwide protest?
Can we get enough bikes together to park out the Waiwakaiho Valley parking area on Sunday morning? We got close to 400 on the Naki Bikeoi on a weekday so what can we acheive on a weekend?
Arrive at opening time and spend an hour or two over coffees and shopping??
