The Sth Akl Thursday Ride folk are thinking about coming your way this week.
Now that Nick Smith has clearly said that rises to the levies WILL go ahead, it seems time to ramp the protests up.
The National/ACT Govt always knew they would not get away with 300% increases: that was nothing but a starting point for what they actually expect: 100-200% increases.
As far as I'm concerned, NO increase is the target and we will have to back that message up in the media. Given that the media and govt have largely ignored us between events, we have to start engaging in action that grabs media attention so those bargaining for us can secure complete elimination of this unfair rise.
So, that being the case, I have already started a thread to generate ideas on how to LEGALLY disrupt New Zealand and gain publicity for the cause.
I, and some of my fellow SATNR riders would like to come and talk with you about this action.
We will decide online and on the night but I'd say it is probable that our Thursday night ride will be to meet you people.
For a starter, take a look at the thread:

Note: BRONZ have made it quite clear that their organisation cannot condone illegal or disruptive action. I understand that and agree. BRONZ however, CAN use the LEGAL but disruptive actions of many riders to push our cuase.
Take a look at some of the ideas posted and lets have a discussion.
see you there!
