Hope to make it. I live up the road - but will be at a huge Xmas party the night before...
"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "

Of course you can. Though we wont be playing, we will be dead set certain about the reason we are there. Think you can cope?

All the more reason to fuel up on a solid breakfast at one of the fine eateries in Mission Bay I reckon. You may however, want to walk down there if you have really had a heavy night, them blood cells tend to hold on to things for a long time

Annie! if you haven't posted this on the BFTP site you'd better, I know many if not all of the guys and girls would do their best to come, count me and the wife, KB aka Ratbag, on her own bike, as in.
Mission bay is an awesome idea darling, plenty of waterfront, not a lot of parking, it'll be a hoot.
C u at 7.30 ish, gotta be in quick if ya wanna park folks.
Dodygiti,Inner city, too big bro, this is fantastic, will hit where it hurts.
Pissing off the general piublic? how?, exercising our right to utilise a park is not an offence and if we're asked why, we can quite legitimatly say, it's part of what they( the general public) need to get used too)What was a car park with three or four bikes parked in it, is now going to be taken up by our individual Cages, lets see if that idea enthuses them any more, than the govt trying to tax us! of the road.
Please be quite clear, I'm hoping many of the public do get a tad annoyed and as I'm certain they will, they'll ask WHY? That people is when we explain it to them in simple terms, it's us and 0ur usual courteous parking on the bikes ( no increases in ACC Levies) or it's our cars taking up the spaces they currently use because we use our gas miserly, road not damaging, far less polluting motorcycles!
Win win, we have breeky, we get to talk to lots of members of the public and they get to see where we are coming from, first hand.
Then, it gets better, They ( from Mission bay, Remmers, St Heliers etc) go to their local MP's and give em shit!
Tell them, get this sorted out or else we pull our donations and our support.
Great idea Mom, I'm with you all the bloody way.
Every day above ground is a good day!:

I might have to spread the word on this and see if some dirty bikers from the dirty Waikato can make it up for a spot of tea and crumpets. I haven't been to mission bay in years.

    Oh how exiting!
