    While for you it may be a piss take, perhaps try to understand that for some, its far from that. Plenty of the experienced bikers (and even those not experienced) have attended accidents, even fatalities. A decent portion of those have even attended their mates fatalies, perhaps held them in their arms while they died etc.

    When someone perceived to be a relative newbie posts up about how it completely wasn't their fault, nothing to learn etc, it worries those people. They post with the simple of aim of trying to prevent another statistic (it doesn't have to be the OP, even someone reading the thread). Plenty have seen newbies post up, tried to assist them, and then they do have more serious incidents or end up dead. Hence the reason they take it seriously.

    If you haven't experienced any of that, good for you. Personally, I find the hardest part is looking at the loved ones try to deal with it or the innocents killed, who truly had no control (children etc).
