You need to stop drinking the Kool-Aid and start actually listening to what is going on.

ACC works VERY well and there is NO deficit.

ACC made 1.5 BILLION dollars more than it spent last year and has another 11 BILLION dollars in reserves

You keep trotting out this waffle about "private health service" endlessly and the bringing in unsupported anecdotes about huge costs.

ACC covers the cost of injuries and loss of income. they do so with WAY less overhead cost than almost any other insurer and the vast majority of the money spent goes either into the public health system or directly into the hands of those who are injured

    THERE IS NO DEFICIT!!!!

The previous board of the ACC did an OUTSTANDING job and thier investment arm outperformed just about all other investors during the worst economic conditions of the last 90 years.

The new board has been brought in to do ONE thing only - get ACC ready for sale!

It already is funded fairly - PLUS has a big , huge, massive wad of cash for rainy days

You have no idea of the facts

yes lets - you need to learn more about them
    Absolutely.

    and that is what counts.
See every one at the sailing club next week eh?
I asked a local retailer, and he said that "customers" don't start turning up till around 9:30am, and we were pretty much done at that point in time.

Pity they didn't have a copy of the Ministry of Transport Crash fact sheet for 2008... Then they could add... Which is clearly bullshit as illustrated by MOT figures

I will take that number! The cop that shoulder tapped me at the end (terrible feeling that being shoulder tapped by plod) today, said he estimated the numbers at between 4 and 500 Lets not argue with it

Best thing is he thanked us for how we behaved. No one pissed off, a message delivered. What more could I ask for?

actually, a lovely day would have been nice

A mate of Mrs Max passed through a couple of times on her cycle and did say that there was at least 400 bikes around the place so I'll third that one...

Oh, and dont worry about being tapped on the shoulder Mom, it's when they stick an arm bar on you for streaking across a cricket pitch......but that's a whole different story....
