Yep! I have got a price given to me verbally & will have it in writing when I get to work in the morning. Once Ive got it in black & white I will be passing the price on to stoney and let the powers to be make the decision.
Getting rid of the bloody long tire snake marks is the most costly part.
As I mentioned in an earlier post is in the hundreds & not thousands.

    Ok folks here it is!
Attached is a copy of the email for the repair to the concourse at Westpac Stadium.
The majority of the cost/work involved is for the removal of the bloody tyre marks
As this cannot be removed by water blasting or chemicals & will need to be carefully diamond ground with a very fine blade to remove the marks only and not damage the integrity of the product.
StoneY has been informed of this cost & email

Thing is even with the damamge, thyere really happy with the Biker community
Theyve been busy saving images off youtube to show 'the day the bikers came to Wellington' LMAO

    Back to serious bizzo

    600 and change folks

MadDuck's fund is already up and running, look under 'Donations' thread
    http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...d.php?t=111363

If you feel compelled to ensure your contribution oges directly to the stadium, add Stadium as a refference but it should not really matter

I for one will be placing 50$ in it

Cheers all, we need to get the funds up quickly tho, its a real business doing the work, and they will want to invoice as soon as it has been done
Madmal's shop has facilitated this contractor, thanks Mal for organizing this aspect of the task

Can we get the money back from the Wellington Free Ambulance?
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Actually if we end up with more money than is needed can we give the overflow to the Wellington Free Ambulance?

    Done.

Can someone keep a track of donations, and advise when/if we reach the $685. I'm willing to backstop it if it doesn't make it, though I think I'm pretty safe.

I agree on overflow going to Welly Free but as the donations are all heaping into the main warchest it will only be traceable if people add the refference

My finances aren't in great shape and I can't afford to throw a big chunk of cash into this fund. But if I put $20 in that would not create any noticeable hardship for me - if a bunch of others did the same then $600+ should not be hard to achieve.

    Edit:
    Done - $20 donated
