ok we getting things sorted....ive got 3 weeks of work over xmas....

so frist leg of my trip we take me from masterton, vire gental annie, to just north napier.Waipatiki Beach.
second leg, will push through to hicks bay, and looking at staying at small private camp in onepoto bay.

next leg will travel up to coromandel, try book a tent site some where up there.

havent sorted the way home yet...

Go right up to Fletchers Bay Joe, worth the trip and won't have a problem getting a tent space. no need to book.

Going to do Motu Rd? I'll be in the area and would love to join you at Matawai for that part.

26th dec
masterton vire, gental annie, up to Mahia beach motorcamp, at Mahia Peninsula. booked, tent site aprox $20

27th dec
From Mahia beach up the east cape to Te Araroa, also booked in some grass, $12 , and there is gas here too...
staying at Te Araroa Holiday Park.

28th
from Te Araroa Holiday Park up to fletchers bay camp grounds...have made contact with owners,,and grass is booked...., cost me $9

29th..im looking for a bed around Rotoura area. please..anyone...

30th..
ill make my way back to masterton.
route undecided.. be south any way, ive got the day to wonder home..


so thats the route.

any ones welcome to travel with me or just for a few hours.
if you wish to camp over, be best to make a booking.
im tenting it..

now i need to map out distances so i dont end up walking...

Might day-trip it over to fletchers bay for a look-see on the 28th, see if I can rouse the aucklandADV crew for a ride.

The coromandel has been on my todo list for a while now.

You can stay at my place mate. We haven't made any plans for xmas but I'll probably be home then.

We could even do a Matahina-Minginui-Waipunga-Napier run with ya the next day on your way home (work & weather dependent)

what other camping spots around hicks bay area, the onepoto is booked out, and most important where are the gas stations...and will they be open...

ok all camping spots are sorted and there is gas at Te Araroa.
thats good now i can top up there and tootle around to the east cape light house,,then top up for the next day....sweet.

right off to town to buy a little bit of steel to make my new racks up..
