Variety is the spice of life, and ya gotta have a laugh along the way. The jacket's fine, mind you if I loose some weight I could squeeze into my old black one which would be better - maybe that's the incentive I need ... hmmmm

When are you getting your adv bike? You should get a scrambler

It made it to Akaroa the other week but I think it was just a turnaround.

Phoenix and I wont be there next week. Loading the bikes and heading away for a short pre-marriage excursion. See you all the week after!

Yeah, I though about that and figured that in all the years I've been riding and the number of "offs" I've had (mainly as a teenager learning the ropes) I've never munted the front part of the helmet. So I've decided to take the calculated risk, however the open face will only be used for local rides, the fullface remains for the longer open road trips. One thing about the open face I'm enjoying is the better view, the wind in the face, and a greater sense of freedom. It's like you don't have a helmet on at all and the combination of the Triumph and the open face helmet is more like it was when I first started riding all those years ago - just plain, simple, uncomplicated fun

I've heard that can be cause of misuse

like they say pretty implicitly how you're suppose to clean them, all of which are in the interests of maintaining the thread strength.

my last pair of dragons disintegrated working in a warehouse over summer, the denim just broke away.

I wear the dragon oilskins (which're suppose to have relative waterproofness) in the instructions I'm pretty much told to never clean them cause it'll remove the oil from the thread, apparently I have to use cold water and scrub out any "soiling" (lol) or use the hose, however I'm then not allowed to tumble dry, or dry in the sun, they have to hang dry somewhere....and that takes up to 3 days!

they've lost most of their waterproofing now anyway so i might just give them a clean in the washing machine.

Yeah think people ove rate the protection they will get with dragon jeans. Ordering some Quasi leather pants , hopefully bit cooler with their stretchy panels etc , than the ones I've already got. And help me break my bad habit of jean wearing. Just a quiet ride....... like that ever happens

I been wearing dragon jeans since getting the Griso, and they have been awesome!!!! If I one day fall, my story may change... they are comfy cool, and have to be better than std jeans, but no doubt at all, leather is best. I just dont fancy wearing a sauna suit, and all that fluid retention within my garments.... eeew.

Marrigae of two KB'rs uh, aggree with fq there, but congrats also!!!! hehe

Nope... he went over the side and the only thing that saved his skin was his walet in the pocket.. the wallet was leather.

The add for dragon shows some turky being draged on his arse.. when does that happen in a acco?
