Thanks Nordie. Awesome ride enjoyed falling off it was great. Think you missed the Steep Road one, was doing an impression of a front loader washing machine. Have now attached fins to the xr and a snorkel. Will have a go at that crossing next time.

    That was good fun.
Needed to take a bit more water though. I ran out half way...

I'll get the pics up tomorrow...

The one where you tried to keep the XR dry by jumping underneath it in the river came out well

Does anyone in the Nelson area know someone with a 80/85cc MX bike that mrsT could have a quick squirt on? Or for that matter i'd be really keen to try out a modern MX or enduro bike as the 640e's not really doing it for me in the rough stuff at the moment.

PM me if anyone's got some contacts.

"Just wait a minute and I'll show you how hard it is to start a flooded, hot XR650R"...
FluffyCat embedded in the creek below Balrog's bridge on the Maungatapu.

    "I'm almost dry now"...
    Climbing up from the creek.

"No I'm not stuck. Just resting"...
Near the top of Steep Road near Hori Bay.

Such terrible views. The smog is atrocious.
Looking back over Delaware Bay and Pepin Island.

    "Just go where-ever. I'll follow."

    Quick shot of Hori Bay...

    Arty time...

There's a FluffyCat in there somewhere...
    Whangamoa Summit

    Oops. It's stuck...
Rejoining Central Road from Top Road via the most rutted route.

The Maitai Dam from the Teal Lookout.

    That was a good ride.

Yeah it was a blast. That tree shot is very cool, XR seemed to like it. Wonder how many rides the AC10 will survive?.
    Thanks dude.

Looks to be a softer compound than the K760 but may also be due to the power delivery of the XR vs DR.

The knobs were scrubbed up further down the knob than on mine but they may be just flexing under acceleration more.
Although I seem to remember them as having more meat to the knobs than the Kenda?
