I am up for it, just as long as you don't mind me crashing a few times.

I can smell you....
You'll be fine with that tyre if you're only going to St Arnaud and back, I can't see canvas showing yet! Nowhere we're riding is too technical requiring full knobblies, mostly just gravel roads with a couple of short 4wd dirt tracks. Should be dry tomm morn according to Metvuw rain forecast.
The three intrepid travellers, Underground, Mountie and Woodman were safely seen off down the road to St Arnaud by Froggy and Fluffycat this morn, after a nice little jaunt through the woods. Quite a lot of fog around the Spooner Tops which made the ride fun, but didn't do much for the views. Blue Glen Rd was all clear and we all enjoyed a good blast through there, no-one had any whoops, so no kodak moments.
It looks like logging may be starting down there soon, as we encountered one track in there blocked off with "Road Closed - Tree felling" sign, so area most likely to be off limits for a while. No chainsaw weilding maniacs to be seen tho.
The weather looked good for the boys heading down through the Rainbow, hope you boys have a great ride further south.![]()
Hooray, y'all will be happy to know I got me full license!Time to put a deposit on an R1?

Hang on. Didn't I see you two up wearing shorts the other day riding down Collingwood St on a wet road?
Well done for getting the license. Now tell your old man to have a very late midlife crisis & get a bike too.
Nice one Brock! Good on ya. Not getting a dirt bike then?
I knocked off early from flying today to replace the bearings and seals in my rear wheel and sprocket carrier. Just got to get one more o-ring for the carrier and I'm good to go. Just mounted a new T63 tyre and amping to go for a ride. Pretty happy I was able to do it all myself. Anyone give me some tips on breaking it in before I go to hard out on the road? I love to lean it over but have never owned a new tyre before so not so sure how to go about it. Would taking it for a gravel ride scrub it in?
Amber
Be careful on the road for the first few ks as new tyres have preservative on them and are slippery. a wee gravel hoon is good for scrubbing them in, but to be honest I don't really understand scrubbing in but do it anyway to look like I know what I am doing.
Does this help??
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
