Just popped over to Rai Valley, what's with the fog over there? What a yuk little place. Bike is performing very well, the rider has very little feeling in the tips of her fingers, bit chilly over Rai way. Love those Whanga's!

Ya get that, I used to live at woodbourne and in the morning you could see the fog slowly oozing out of the valley, usually cleared just in time for the next lot to start forming.

Good to hear you're still loving it, lots of cool places to ride a bike around Nelson.

You really should make your way south for a bike rally, don't worry about sleeping in a tent, if you join in the KB fun then by the end of the night where you're sleeping is largely irrelevant.
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987

Had a moment and scratched my bike. Dropped it on the forecourt at the Wakefield petrol station. I'm blonde but I'm sure a few brunettes have done it as well.

My children are back at school today so the fun shall really begin now......

[QUOTE=Grubber;1129620779]All this emotion being floated around Genie....so friggin exciting,I get like that even now when i go for a ride, QUOTE]

I can't sleep properly for days leading up to a tour, the excitement of all the pre planning of likely route which changes numerous times before actually riding the route, I still get a kick out of ringing up the motel where I have pre-booked acc to " Confirm booking " as it means " I'll see you soon " butterflys start to get out of control the night before when I'm packing my bag & checking, checking & re-checking scooter to ensure nothing is left behind & that scooter is up to the task.... I'll normally be well up before the sun counting down to the departure time, but think F$#@ it I'm gone See Yah !!!

OHHHHHH... theres a good chance it might happen again to, specially with you enthusiasm. TIE girl and enjoy taking ya time, tis unfortunat that often the only way to learn is the hard way, what did you do wrong, not check the stand was down all the way, hoped on and went right over (does happen) parked with the stand on or in a high/low spot, parked at a diesel pump (spiliage always watch that when choosing a pump) parked facing down hill (leave in gear if so) huh huh?... so much to think about aye and thats just parking the farking thing
    cheers DD

    Cool story.

Just a thought, why is that we ride black bikes, wear black gear, wear a black helmet, and yet we still complain when a car driver pulls out into our path and says "Sorry mate I didn't see you."

Hate having to be the fun police, coz getting into biking 25 years ago was the best decision I have ever made.
