Doable, but would you enjoy it? All that worry about plastic on gravel...

Mint road, scenery is absolutely breathtaking.
I rode the Gentle Annie end of 08, gravel roads on a road bike are fun! (eventually!) I learnt a lot about control, and relaxing. And nothing fell off the firestorm either!
Capital Cruise and TT2000 2012. Looking forward to my two big rides!

When are you guys (and girls) doing this loop again. I'd be keen to tag along. Haven't been to Waikaremoana for a very long time.
Showing off for the camera since ages ago

Hey Bart, we will let you know next time we do that loop as a group. At the moment we have a time trial challenge going. Only suitable to do on your own & only if you know the way. It,s not about speed , its more about not stopping for five hours, except for one gas stop. I,m really looking forward to seeing what the " Commander " TONYW can pull out of the bag on his run . FRIDAY FLASH is also keen for a go. And he,s a dark horse .

I guess thats a quick way to get people past their fear of gravel. Just do it!

Yeah I went through there in my surf - what a beautiful place... Vowed to go back on two wheels.
