I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
Well assuming the DR never gets going I may still be getting back on a bike...Father-In-Laws 7 (or 12 I can't remember when I looked a couple of years ago) 000km GB400 has been offered to me as he doesn't really use it! Will be coming down from Palmerston North in the next few months![]()
Take care out there:

Good ride last night, didn't rain at all and there was no dust either. Some of us got abusedby a mountain biker on the Dovedale saddle, silly prick thought he owned the road, and umopom showd us locals a wee side track down off the top of Rosedale saddle. Nice view from the top too.
Beer, food and company were also good at the Tap.
I forgot about the ride![]()
The mountainbike guy abused me for sitting on my bike (with engine off ) well off the road. Told me between swear words that there are "other road users too yoiu know". It took a fair bit of self control not to roost him. Anyway he was on a mountainbike so he has the moral high ground.
ride was good and next time I will get the small pizza.

Mahhn...you guys ok?....that MTB rider sounded mean....What did you do to him?. Is it going to be in the Nelson Mail??? Eh...Eh???
Were you all wearing your patches.......
I can smell you....
I was planning to go, but work got in the way![]()

A little side note: I stopped on the Maungatap the other day to find out what the story was with a heap of MTBers going up the track right on dusk; stopped the bike, took helmet off, said "hello" and the tosser rode straight past, woulda roosted 'im but I was slowing for a corner when I went past him again
Any hoo, turns out it was some sort of big race type thingy, woulda been easier with a motor on the bike,
Nah, disqualified....... not enough lycra

Hi All, despite the usual road in being closed Rosie & I have made it to Nelson, have decided to go for a ride over to Takaka & up the Cobb tomorrow. Anybody else keen? We'll stay in Nelson tomorrow night too then head out to Karamea on Monday. Will check back on here later this evening.
Cheers
