Thats an unfair statement about the police. As we were towing our trailer back to NP we were passed by more than a few idiots on bikes in stupid places. They werent doing the ACC argument any good at all.
The police have a job to do.

    Bingo Robert.

I had several pass me which made me gasp - as has been repeatedly said, bikers are their own worst enemies sometimes.

True True I drove from Paeroa to Aucks and the behaviour was terrible, bikes split laneing forcing there way through, cutting in front of me hitting the brakes, crap riding behaviour from many bikes

I was hoping for a few to get done, sadly no

Bingo x2, got cut off by 2 bikers yester-evening in a group of 5 turning in front of me to head up the Kaimai's at a million miles an hour. (The last 2 - yamaha and Duke wern't quite so hasty)

Just like to say a big thanks to all the ambulance crews that had to do a shite load of work yesterday.
A totally thankless task (I know they're paid to do it), but never the less, a big thanks from me for your efforts.

    Fuck!

I'd heard this (my sister knows his sister) - but I was looking for evidence that it was just a bad rumour.

    RIP Alan.

    Condolences for your loss

You were in your car, of course?

(pasant: perhaps it would be best if a mod were to remove the tragic news and condolences to their own thread?)

Very sad to hear about the side cars, saw the end of the crash and it didn't look good. My condolences to all concerned.

Here are some random clips me and a mates camera from our spot...

Thankyou Scrivy, first person to hear that from. Only comments had before that were critisism on the decision to cancel racing from people who had no idea just how serious that crash was.
