oh yeah... it was a lovely ride.... and yes love to see a line of bike aye... love it when we go into the tunnel... love the sound of the bike even though mine sound like a lawn mower... lol... nice to see you katie... i might see you next week if im freeee, if im freeee from assignments... sigh

The weather looks good for tomorrow and the road seal is fine for the 250cc paced ride out to the coast.

Aside from up and down the Wainuiomata Hill, the ride has a good mixture of bends; sweeping, esses, and tighter ones too. I find this a good ride: you can settle in and flow with the road shape choosing good safe lines and setting up with smooth counter-steering. Also it is important to have your hazard awareness skills tuned - casting out ahead, particularly for the occasional sheep or three that may have strayed.

Hi Girlzchris.. I am hoping to attened this ride, but something may pop up. Hopefully its all good though.

I'll let you know in the morning if I'm going, as I head to the Duckpond from Ngauranaga at 5.30pm (just along a bit from the gas station we have been meeting you at).

Will give you a bell tomorrow, and will happily lead you out to the ducks! Oh, and other riders

Christy, do you want to meet me at the truck gas station on old hutt road that we met you at last time? Say around 5.45pm? I can take you out to the duck pond. Good experience in the rush hour traffic too..

Turn right if coming from the city at Avalon... over bridge and it is right there on the left. The pond is this big wet looking thing with ducks on it.

Buckbucks bright green kwaka will be there.... easy to spot, it sticks out like a glow stick down your trousers.
