    GPS free software

I've got easy GPS but find cropping sections of tracks a PITA with it. Are there any other free software programmes you have had good experience with? I have googled & there are heaps of them but just wondering.
    cheers

So I've heard that one mentioned twice today.
Looks interesting, website talks about making your own maps, be nice if it is easier than my current method.
What I'd really like to do is rip the Open source stuff apart and recompile it with transparency enabled again like it used to be. Then I would be able to bring up the hill contours in the Topo map and have Auto Routing Open Source one doing its thing at the same time. I miss that.

edit: or are they talking about making paper maps instead of GPS map layers? I'll take a better look latter.

Thanks for the info. I think the problem is due to pilot error.

You've played with THIS one from the OpenGPS guys?
Topo, tramping and Auto Routing all in one.

Thanks nordie, I hadn't seen that, I've now installed it and I do like that one better than the other version but still can not display my own home made Adventure Routes map layer over it.
Never mind I can live without that i guess, I'll keep my layer in the background and if I need it I guess I'll turn off the open source one and turn back on my layer and GT Topos.
