Streetstock was not "one of the biggest classes in South Island Nationals"
It was TWICE as big as the next big one, 600SP.( SS had 32 entries.)
Success for this class was close racing, plenty of it , and SAFELY. Most rounds never saw a
red flag out, some never even saw a yellow. Thats where it's at.
And no, they don't bludge off the meeting. A few years ago the Streetstock class paid two and half
times as much per track minute than Superbikes!
Buckets do not race with Streetstock at the South Island National, rounds, never have.
Yes, Billy, roll on MNZ rules for all clubs in Streetstock and encourage the 250four strokes,
even if they're slow and expensive. It will grow to be good when they get separate scoring,
which will be soon I hope.
For SS to prosper it needs only the current rules and the addition of 4 simple things
Recruit, Support, Train, Promote.
