    shit thats a long way back, i had a XL back then and yeah your right, i was thinking more when the mono shock came out and upwards like the XT550 - 600tenere and xr 5-600pro links.

    yea the 500 prolab was a big step forward my first ktm was a 77 250 mx then a 88 350 exc loved that bike .Sold that in 92 and havent had a dirt bike since Just getting the itch again
