Well done to the CAMs club for putting the meeting on, what looked like a very good spectator turn out and despite the inevitable delays I really enjoyed the day out

That was a great day. The course is brilliant for spectators, there is always a bike going past. A bridge across the track could possibly come in handy as I think some tracktime was wasted with spectators crossing over.

It's been a while since I've made it to some street racing but it seemed like St John's did more laps than they should have. I'm really hoping that they run the event again in 2-3 years.

ya farking wanker... ya never stoped in at our pit to say hi

Basicaly... the 250LC went well in pre 82, the ZXR400 is the spawn of the devil but I loved it in pre89, buckets was interesting snaped a peg of with my rough riding but swiped a spear of FGTR's hemeraging bike... now the hay bail took ghost bullet out, GB took phinexGTR out, FGTR took Bren chch and diesel pig out... actually the day was bloody carnage wit a poor bugger in motards ending up with 2 broken arms. Room for improvment but all up a farking mint day... yay for CAMS
    cheers DD

Crapping hell. I wondered what happened to Brendan and now I know. I saw the motard guy and he was lucky just to have the broken arms. It was disgusting that everyone had to yell at the St John's for them to assist him though!! Think they were having a natter and a cup of tea. And yes I know they volunteer but if you take on that level of responsibility you should do the job properly!
