eek OK, I have seen it all now

I was passenger in a car travelling along St Lukes Rd today when I see a very large black and chrome cruiser being ridden out a drive to the footpath on the other side of the road.

Now I am no longer shocked by riders with shorts, t-shirts and sneeaker, but this one took the cake.
I think he is not going to enter the road without a lid, but my intuition said yes bare head and all he will do it. And sure enough no safety gear at all including a helmet he enters the traffic and rides up the road as we pass him.

We all know the consequences of being hit with no gear at all, his stupidity leaves me pretty well speachless.

Two things have me very very concerned about this thread.

    1) WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING IN A CAR???

    2) You know the difference between a Harley and a black and chrome thing by now

In my defence Ducky, I can say with all sincerity it was not my car and I did not enjoy the ride, I was doing small children a favour today............... Easter Bunny stuff

And it could have been a Honda, but I cant's say it was a Honda in case it was a Harley............ you know how Harley riders get upset so easliy

It's funny how a few years ago a helmet wasn't even compulsary and now you ride without one you're going to die.

Cars do have their uses, we some how came to the conclusion that climbing The Mount would be a good idea......doing it in full bike gear? f**k that for a joke! was tiring enough as it was!

Besides, everone knows harley riders are big hairy patched gang members who wear German WW2 helmets...

I wear a helmet - wouldn't think of going out with out one now, but you know it hasn't always been like that - and I would add that not everyone who didn't wear a helmet fell off, and not every one who fell off with out wearing a helmet hit their head on anything, funny that!

What is it with Easter and ATGATTers?

I was going to make a tasteless quip about Jesus and the wearing of personal protective equipment but on reflection thought better of it.
