Used to love riding over to Greymouth & watching the racing & now i get to compete in street races which is the most amazing buzz ever!

...but you dont get to see as much racing so these shots are fantastic!

Good question... being in the race I have no idea, Id expect the big bores were up frount, altho they did fall over a lot on the hair pin as it was damn near a stop and go turn.

fark yeah, I was right behind ya's GH hit the bail rather hard and bounced into you, and that was a hard hit aswell, Im sure with less skill you both would have gone down.

Something noticed and the photos show it is most riders seemd to change their riding positions, I expect due to the bails on the inside of the turns, and being unable to see around.

Yeah thanks, yup so I went from stink to double stink, The line of cement on the road had me a little cautious, still had a great ride in race 2. Good on ya D!!!!

Would like to echo comments above, fantastic day big congrats to Lions and CAMS, hope it becomes an annual event.

Oh mate that wasnt you on a nice XS triple that went down on the hair pin... if so I seen you couldnt get the bike of ya leg, every one else rode past, I did a ue to help ya out but you managed to get out as I aproached.

Thats Nick Cain on a XL500 and another behind you... dont worry he kicked my arse each race too, and on B track when Im on the 350LC he still gets me 50% of the time.

Yip that was me, not sure about racing etiquette but I lost the front end avoiding the ( nameless CB ) that all but parked coming out of the corner after the chequered flag. I guess I was behind so it was my fault or maybe oil contrubuted.
Shit happens

Haven't raced since Greymouth and got 7th and 8th which are my best ever results so pretty stoked with the day all the same.
