Lets put this into perspective....
In the 1930's -50's there was no internet.
If it wasn't for the internet, Carver's efforts wouldn't be widely known.
Finding photos of the other achievements? they will be around, they'll be in family albums.
Only those who know Carver will know his name...there will be thousands of Kiwis that couldn't name him, just like the pilot and the other two blokes.
I know for a fact that the guy who you can see walking over the bridge was told that a bike was about to ride over the arches, I'm also pretty sure that the white car seems to shadow Carver as he goes across the arches was a) told the same as the guy walking, or at very least b) saw him ride up the ramp onto the arches.
KiwiBitcher
where opinion holds more weight than fact.
It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

90% public support is what TVNZ told me over the phone...
i did mention the "few" but they did not want to have to explain it!
Bad Luck Carver...in this case the law is an ass IMHO...small minded legal thinking is killing freedom to face challenges and liberty to enjoy non commercial adventure, in NZ.
