I agree. Thanks muchly Murray. Twas my first group ride - I love it! Nice to meet the great crew of people, see some new parts of the country and enjoy the hospitality of Browny's moto-museum and cafe. Riding with others isn't very good for my big-bike lustings though. Going to have to ramp up the savings plan methinks

Sounds like a lot of fun. I have done moving finally so am REALLY keen on the next ride (stops post to look at calander) :-( doesnt seem to be a LOR ride for ages, with the v8's etc etc :-)

Will keep my eyes open for the next one.

Excellent ride! Glad to finally make it to another one.

Don't pine too much Rusty, just ride the arse off your 250

I'm thinking of doing that ride again myself in three weekends time, anyone else keen? Weather depending of course.

generally discussed on the Wednesday night get together to get an idea whose riding and any suggestions. hopefully appearing in the calendar Thursday. Not sure about this weekend as you have stated the V8's are on and people seem to be busy but will check out possibilities on Wednesday - may even just be a Raglan ride for coffee???

I'm usually busy on Wednesday nights but am keen for a ride Sunday, coffee to Raglan sounds a.o.k.
I'm keen to do the kawhia run sometime, though I guess you guys have done that a few times already

I would be keen if there is a Kawhia run. I've done the Raglan run a bit too much!

Got rid of the L-plate today.
Test route was similar to that described by sil3ntwar.
Made one dumb mistake: Ruakura Rd 80 km zone - so busy trying not to go 5kph over the 50km speed limit that I was halfway along Ruakura Rd before I remembered I was in an 80km zone!!
The tester didn't have a great sense of humour when I told her i nearly had a heart attack realising what I dumb mistake I made - "it's very important to comply with the posted speed limit signs".

Thats crazy as when i was coming home today along that stretch of road i was wondering why everyone speeds everywhere else but this road where they only do 60. I think people miss the signs.

I know the road and the speed limit there, just so focussed on something else I buggered it up!
