You do realise that you don't pay per letter right?

I will never get my head around the fact that, even though I only one plate, I get charged for two.
For that reason, I cant see myself ever owning a Personal Plate.
If they were to lower the single plate cost (for a bike) to say $500 them maybe.

    I think it's because a 3L3N is just a standard plate.

I named my bike "Sah Sin" which means hummingbird in Haida Indian, and its the bird of the month I was born in, my bike is an Indian replica...anyway, I went to the licensing office and wrote "sahsin" as the plate, but when I got to the counter the guy read it and said

"Oh that's different, you want Assassin on your plate"

I couldn't stop laughing and after I looked at the spelling, I realised that's how people are goiing to read it...so no "SahSin" plate for me.

My new bikes name is "Green Envy" So I want to try and see if "GRNNV" is available or maybe just "NV" I dunno, still in the thought stages.

Yeah know that. Plates with 3 letters than 3 numbers or 3 numbers than 3 letters are cheaper than the others. Well it was when I got mine. By about $200-odd.

Ah, now this is a good point. But you have to remember:

"the manufacturing of the registration plate is in fact, a very small contributor to the overall cost of a personalised plate. There are database costs, administration costs, pissing in the governments pockets costs, buying the CEO a new car every 6 months cost"

This would be the official line...well maybe edited a bit.

But you can have TUTAE - which I understand means SHIT in Maori. Seen it on more than one plate (with a number at the end) so how did that slip through?
Can't have my initial/name on a plate (not that I'd want to) as apparently FKING is rude...
Had BMWCS on my F650CS and sold it with the plate. Got L00CE on the Goose but got that when it was about $500. The current price tag would put me off buying another one unless it was something really amazing.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

Cool thanks for those ideas.. I also thought of "NNJA" or "CMEGO" or "KCHME" or "NVUS" in mind.

The best plate I have heard of was a woman took her husband's Ferrari in a divorce and the license plate read "WUZHIS"
