Its not the the message but rather how the message is delivered; both verbally and through Non Verbal Communication (NVC).

I'm not complaining about the message. Simple answer is - don't do anything illegal, however if one does then there are some individuals that need to address how they deliver that message....

Ahhh, actually they do, a couple of bad eggs who struck damn near greater media attention than any murderer or rapist has ever received. Two I can remember, look how much attention that got?! If it happened as often as you thought, it would be in the news every day. You do realise they did get charged right?! If they had'nt you would'nt have even heard about it......I ca'nt say I recall it happening as often as you seem to proclaim..... Are you really that paranoid?

No, it's a job. They are there to do a job, not serve you......What's with you idiots thinking you OWN people because your taxes pay the salaries? Maybe you should re-read what I was quoting, it's quite easy to see if you read what I replied to. Dunno if you ca'nt see it N.Z has some pretty decent adult education facilities available.

Really. I deal with them more than you i'm sure, and I could'nt disagree more. I'd say those people that truely agree with this moronic shit have problems with authority and their ego gets rubbed the wrong way when they get told off, and they ca'nt handle it. Grow some balls, be a man, and if da big bad powice man tells you off it's probabwy for a weason ok?! It's nuffing personal.....

What would you have happen with these "dickheads"? Maybe just rid the nation of police and just let crims take over eh? Or just let people drive however the fuck they like all over the roads...?

You realise they are required to deal with the traffic offenses right? Of-course there's other things they'd rather be doing. But they would'nt be fulfilling their job description if they ignored people breaking the law in front of them, and if they did i'm sure you'd have a big spit of the dummy and cry over that too....."I saw a guy speeding and this cop did'nt do anything..." waaa waaa. Just because your country is full of corruption that does'nt mean our cops should be so busy with corruption they do'nt have time for enforcing the "meaningless traffic regulations...."

Would you enjoy a drink/speeding driver to wipe out your family? Think about that. Yes a lot of the tickets that are issued at times I agree are pretty unneccessary, even to point of being "bullshit", for sure. Remember whatever you do, if you really are passionate about it, the little things start to mean a lot, that's why a cop may just seem a little overly upset at what would be considered trivial..... That hardly makes them wankers or dickheads, it makes them human. What job do you have? I bet there is plenty of absolute fucken cocks in that trade.......that does'nt mean i'd tar you all with the same brush....

I would'nt even call you a dickhead just yet, just mis-guided.

Ok that time i was refering to second hand knowledge of someone who used to be a cop for quite a few years, and the stories of dodgey antics his buddies on duty used to get up to (speeding, dring driving etc.)...but as you said, just like any other "job" and "few" bad eggs.
(i wont go into any detail about this as it wouldnt lead anywhere but into more arguments...its just something i've heard and believed to be true but for all i know it can be made up as well)

yes for them its a job, but those ones that treat it as a "job" that pays the bills and not as something that society should look up to are probably the "rotten eggs" we are talking about..also they dont get paid mininum wage! (very far from it actualy, ask some people at McDonnalds or some gas station if they would like to start on 42K+)

AND No i dont own you and never implied i did...so dont make this into some meaningless personal argument!

Yes i know what you were trying to say but its still not the argument here, of course we are not oppressed by police here like in some 3rd world country....but this whole argument is merely about their behaviour that we have come accross in our day to day life.

Of course they treat you differently, you are their peer or at least thats how they see you...so yes they are probably nice to you and you probably even have some cop friends. Unfortunately Iam not firefighter or ambulance driver so i get treated like a scum criminal biker just because i "look" suspect....

Never said anything like that, i just dont like the way iam spoken to when i get pulled over...i NEVER said, get rid of police or anything like that!

Well if they dont like being traffic cops Iam sure there are plenty of other more important jobs they could be doing, but it seems to me that some of them actualy enjoy being traffic cops and exerting their powers on public instead of actualy helping where they are needed.
Also of course i dont want some dickhead driver hitting my friends and family...BUT i also dont want this "dickhead driver" getting ticket for 111km/h on empty open road (some discretion would be nice still) or even worse i dont want this dickhead driver to hit my family because he was running away from cops because he was afraid of another ticket/loss of licence (yes, its still their responsibility to realize that the driver is not going to stop)

Also i work in telecommunications (IT) so trust me i do come accross some dickheads in my line of work too...but iam not paid to lead by example or to provide public service (job..whatever) from taxpayers money

There is a glitch with KB that is making double posts quite common. Also, repeating the last word in the top line of a post will be noticed around here.
    The marvels of computers, huh?

    I've noticed tthat too.
There's a particularly strange one that causes someone to type the words "I have been pulled up heaps and only ever been given a warning. The last time I got pinged at over 150kph and the guy just shook his head and said to keep it down a bit" ... but when the server puts that post up on the screen it somehow becomes "All cops are cunts."

    Go figure...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    They are recruiting arseholes:
    Case 1 - overheard between 2 mechanics in a bike dealership -
" How's that application to join the police going?"
" They didn't like my 5 driving while disqualified convictions, but they said if I stayed clean for 18 months I will reapply successfully"

T'was a time contempt of court was a definate "no way Jose" for a police applicant.

What if the driver was only found to be drunk when he was pulled up for doing 111?

You also might want to consider how much your attitude contributes to how the Police treat you because based on reading your posts, I would be inclined to baton you on the spot and consider it a public service.

I reckon the people criticising police should spend a week being one. Personally I think Kitt Wyatt is shitty cos he applied to join the police and was refused on the grounds he rode a Triumph since they're not real motorbikes.

So , it's OK to drive drunk so long as you keep under 100 kph? Or are you arguing (as you appear to be) that EVERY driver exceeding 110kph is drunk?
