Ok after talking with Krayy today we have made an decision.

    AUCKLAND SATURDAY DEPATURE

Ok scavanged these from last years thread

When: This Saturday Morning (05 June)
Where: Papakura Autobarn (Also known as the Papakura BP on the Motorway)
    Time: Meet up and have a chinwag @ 0900 departing @ 0930
Why: Because because Carl cant be arsed getting out of bed any earlyier and we have get down to Turangi some bloody how and way

Weather is looking prety shit hold for Sunday (see attachments) so I cant see any reason why we wouldnt end up doing the forgotten h/way then so I recon we head east, play through the Waikato to Cambridge, then head down the western side of the river to end up at atiamurui (sp) we could then head down the western access and into Tokanuu or if people havent had enough riding we could get adventouris and turn back on the Bennydale road cut through the back, wrap round to Tamuranui, and then over to Tokanuu.

Still open to options but those are my thoughts

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

Looks good. We did that route with the Rusty Nuts a few years back. We can do some fluffing about over the Hunuas, then back roads to Maramarua forest, Tahuna Rd to Morrinsville, then over the hump to Cambridge.

Well I have to do the family thing in Taupo, but depending on Bubby who is not feeling well, I might be able to catch up on Sunday if you are doing brekkie in Taumaranui or Taupo
If so - what time and where?

We, on the other hand, are legends, so we will be travelling via SH1 through Hamilton, Taupo and Turangi and not travelling below 130km/h (but not above 140, we're not idiots you know). See you there.

I make lots of money plowing fields twice as fast as a bloke in a John Deere.

It's just like the K-TooM, only less German (if you know what I mean).

It's probably got such a large speedo error to make them feel like they are going so much faster....

+/- 20% according to the manual. That's well within reason.
