    I like it.

Unfortunately here the AOS would be all over us shooting unarmed innocent civilians.

We cant take that risk for societies sake.

Actually Jono is correct. The common law is law which has evolved over centuries of court cases. It is the quiet sister of statutory law which is made by parliament. For example you will not find a statute which specifically sets out the rules and limitations of suing someone who smashes your bike. That right comes from common law - an entitlement to claim damages from someone who has wronged you.

    Rust

Crikey this rust stuff can strike fast! Over night fast in fact!

Was out wandering about with the rifle on the weekend and had some rust form on the outside of the barrel and on the bolt handle overnight! Never had it happen that fast, and especially not on this rifle before!

Which rifle? The bolt handle on the 10/22 had a couple of spots of rust on it after I cleaned it a little too vigorously once. A quick spray of WD40, leave i for a few hours and then buff it off with a rag normally works for me.

Don't know how true it is but I hear a gunbag made of clean but untreated sheepskin works well. The lanolin in the wool (wool side in) keeps the outside gun oiled all the time so when it gets wet it's less of/not an issue.

    Can anyone here confirm/correct that?
