You should get pretty close to 400km from full tank to the empty light, Mine did average 23km per litre from memory.

For those who missed last night !!!

I must say that was very well done. Very much proves the case of it's not what you ride it is how you ride it. I was burned off twice that night, and that's because two people with much more experience on their bikes rode them very well. Perhaps I could have taken off faster, but then I could have also ended up sliding down the road on my butt or flipping the thing over. Not tempted to try on a bike I've only done 150km on. So if you're ever feeling like you _have_ to get a bigger bike, just remember a 250 can beat a 1000 if you ride it right.

hi there i'm a newbie - going for my bhs on sat. Is it possible to come along one week to see what you guys do - see what bikes you ride? I'm still not sure what to get - was going to get a dual purpose as my partner (now ex) does adventure riding - maybe an xt250 or dr250. Now that its just me i wondered about a gn250 to get confident on. Would be good to see what others are riding...

To participate you need a bike, but no one will mind if you want to watch. You might be best coming along to Bar Africa with us at the end of the session. More chatting done there.
