that's a sad looking bike. Must have been quite a scare when you hit that patch and you felt the bike doing things you didn't tell her to do..
Good to hear you walked away with no real injuries!

Lucky for Cracker, I had both of those with me. So he had 400mg Nurofen & 1g Panadol with the cuppa and biccie the Farmer's Wife gave him. Saw Cracker go down in my mirrors. He was a lucky boy. Although the slippery conditions contributed to him going down, it also saved him by letting his body slide.
The tar on that corner had melted in Summer. With the rain on it, that part of the corner was slicker than a freshly saved pussy

Yep, you are more important than the bike and gear, so well done on the good choices you made which saved you serious damage.

The knee doesn't sound too clever though

    Good luck with the recovery.

I see this thread has headed south already (and RiderInBlack... it's freshly SHAVED kitty )

Well hun, I'm very glad you're still in one piece & good humour. Is a hell of a scare after seeing the bike pics.

Can someone go retrieve your bike for you? Is it far from home?

Go have a long hot bath & take care
