Yes very well done Carolyn!!!! Yes you did start slowly however as we said your improverment was noticable.

The Summit Road is one of the most challenging roads near Christchurch. You have ridden over it.

I hope we will see you as a regular on our rides.

Have to admit the leather clad rump of schrodingers cat was very easy on the eye in front of me, riding round the harbour

...he was doing some nice sliding the rear off the seat body positioning into the corners too......

[QUOTE=schrodingers cat;1129781829]With HTML you need an opening and closing bracket [ ] and [/ ]

    So
    and then [/ Quote]
Often if you are editting a quote, the bracket or forward slash goes astray

(Also notice that my brackets above didn't turn into a 'quote' because I added an extra space after the forward slash wheareas below I stuck to convention)

    (/Hope this helps)
    Cool cheers

    Where to?
Is anyone going to have any energy left after Petra's party on Friday?????

    Ok!!!!!!!!!! SatRide???????? GP's Route.

BK, Sumner (regroup near School For The Deaf), Evans Pass, Summit Road (regroup Sign of The Kiwi carpark), Gebbies Pass (regroup on Gebbies Pass Road just before the Wheatsheaf), around the bays to Port (regroup in layby just before the Tunnel), either through the tube or Evans Pass, to the Twisted Hop (or somewhere else).

Anyone else got a better idea?????????? Lets hear it please!!!!!!!!!

Seriously though if YOU have a ride you would like to do as a SatRide please let us know. I would like to have a better range of options for us all to enjoy. The reaction to the suggestion of Lees Valley proves to me that other riders would like different challenges as well.

Lees Valley is still on the agenda, later on though. If someone else wants to organise something earlier regarding Lees Valley then please go for it!! Please let us know if something is planned, because I would like to meet up from the Oxford end.

So from the Sign of the Kiwi we go along the second half of Summit Road to Gebbies Pass? Sounds like a good plan I'm in if my lurgy has subsided sufficiently.

As a recovering Spike Milligan fan I must definitely have the dreaded form (not sure I ever actually heard that episode though ). I'll watch out for the dreaded batter pudding hurler during my convalescence as a precaution.

I should be in for a ride this sat , maybe we just do the other half of summit road that we missed last week? ie evans -lyttelton -governors -kiwi - gebbies - out to akaroa highway and back to town via old taitapu rd? Most people seemed to have a late lunch last week, so anyway food is good ,I'm keen to go .
Short bit of open road for the learners , but traffic should be going in other direction at that time.
