'Mase' has stolen 3 bikes that we know of so far, and attempted one before he took ours, but didn't get away with it!! The first time they were in a blue Legnum station wagon, when they took our one they were in a BMW 318 or 320, gold champagne colour. The two bikes stolen most recently, Saturday and Wednesday, was in a STOLEN 2009 Toyota Hilux, silver, rego FAL***.

I've told TradeMe whats going on. They said "I am sorry to hear about this situation. I have passed the detail on to our policing team to keep an eye out and we also work closely with the Police in these situations and assist them where we can."

Could go through and put 'questions' on all the late model jappa sportsbikes for sale in auckland warning them, if you have the time?

That means: "whatever, did we still get our fees paid?".

What a bunch of pricks. I've got a GPS unit if someone is willing to front up a bike.
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

    Holy monkey. Not again.

    Absolutely gutted for you guys.

Never mind, the KB "My hindsight is 20/20" club will be along soon to tell you what you should have done. Cos that'll make you feel better.

Yeah, they did not contact me through TradeMe - they called. Wife thinks the rego of the Hilux was FAM118. Most distinguishing feature about the guy was the way he spoke - very weird. Could hardly understand him on the phone.

    Woa, that is terrible!
    3 bikes now?
Aside from Police investigation, and contacting Trademe, could you three get together and contact the bike mags as well? They might do a story?

Might serve as a warning to other riders and sellers - beyond KB, and contact local dealers maybe with photo's of bikes and description of the bloke in the hilux?

Achievement is not always success while reputed failure often is. It is honest endeavor, persistent effort to do the best possible under any and all circumstances.

Id say the next person who sees the person described, or even suspects it, *turns up with friend, keen to buy but needs to ride first etc..* . should just call the police.

Very sorry to hear about your loss mate. Just a tip for anyone selling a bike in the future to anyone they don't know.

When you check his/her licence, make sure it's them and record the licence number.

Take a picture of them, so you can say to the police..."here's the CUNT I'm looking for. You can also then post the CUNTS picture here for all of us to see, so when we see him...we can belt the fuck out of him for you.

If they won't let you take their picture...tell them to fuck off.

Bike is a black 2007 Yamaha R1, rego is 83YYF.
My contact is Alistair, 021776730. And yes, I know what should have been done as far as deposit, etc is concerned, but hindsight is an awesome thing. This happened in Drury, Auckland.

Ah, so you were ther guy that rung the rock last night... Another guy rung not long after and said about the same guy stealing his bike too ...Bummer man, will keep an eye out for it....
