Come on, it's a shiny red one, and it's got 12 less valves than your other one so it would be 60% cheaper to fix.

Actually, it's possibly disturbing that the austrian, german and italian eurojunk are all red, and come to think of it so is the honda.
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987

Speaking of Austin 7s. We met a lovely gentleman in a cafe in Lyttelton today. He saw my leather trou and asked about bikes. Turns out he lives in Diamond Harbour, has an ancient Indian Scout amongst others, is president (I think) of the Motorcycle part of the Vintage Car Club, has an ancient Austin 7 which is his main daily transport and all sorts of other cool stuff.
Lovely chap by the name of Alan. Didn't catch his last name but surely everyone in Diamond Harbour knows everyone else ...?

You should look him up, he sounded intrigued by your collection and seemed puzzled that you two had not met.

Don't know all the locals. Only been here for 10 years. Will check with Dennis my neighbor 2 doors down who also has a 7 and a MG (snap) he will know who you are talking about. I used to be a VCC member almost 30 years ago when a friend and myself had a 7 specials, got sick in the end of the buggers looking down their noses at us young punks having fun in our not original vintage cars. I do know that the VCC has changed these days but I haven't been back for years.
