If ACC/rego is added to regular insurance + the 85 cents per ltr tax in fuel not to mention Grab Snatch Take at various points along the way with a WoF every six months all paid for by money you have earned and already paid tax on (especially self employed) I think we can still find momentum for a good run at winning the who has it the hardest comp.

And this just in........."A few years ago Ontario changed the law concerning the no insurance coverage fine. It used to be $500 to be found riding with no insurance but too many people were riding without, paying the 2 or 3 tickets per year because it was still cheaper than getting coverage with their records. Then they upped the limit to $5000 for the first offence!! A lot of people parked their bikes!"

"Sounds like it`s fairly similar only in Quebec it`s mandatory. You have to get a renewal sticker yearly for the plate and the insurance in in the cost of the sticker. It would be easy for the police to see if you`re running on an expired plate as they have the year and month on the sticker."
