    Hear hear orange brother!

But I think with a 675 engined 21/18" wheeled machine triumph may be aiming right at the F800GS, & not minding too much if a few 990's get caught in the crossfire.

    Cheers

hugh??? They got the beemer, ducati, guzzi, cagava, oh an ktm not forgetting the current tiger if they want euro... no doubt there will be some sales in the jap decenters/Triumph loyalists markets; is that where they see their market??? The challenge for Triumph is to attract new customers with a fresh offering that will perhaps stand apart from the competition....not clone it....don't ya reckon??

Triples are quite a different ride, sitting between the power of a four and torque of a twin. And they're turbine-like smooooooth yet distinctively rorty.
Thats as may be...but its the whole package that Triumph will need to get right if there to keep the financiers in the manner to which theyre acustomed.

I seriously doubt Mr Bloor is going to come out with anything more off-road capable than an F650GSD-type thing. Not a trailie-single competitor, that's for sure, so Messrs. Kronreif & Trunkenpolz won't be losing any sleep.
You probably right there....the market for hardcore appears to be a small one...maybe why we aint seen a 690 adventure.....still time though Mr Trunkenpolz got plenty of time on his hands to do the ground work

How many of the existing offerings are triples? Or British?
    Cheers,

So we are now at page 4 - has anybody put up a photo of the real bike yet? Or is this thread just a total waste of time?

well if their market is adventurers looking for a 3 headed pom to ride they should crack it...they maybe wanting to cast their net wider than that though which hopefully means a well thoughtout bike/s that can handle a bit of rough. I am enthusiastically hopping they will and not just another soft tourer.

An MCN article quoted in the advrider thread says those two are the standard and accessory performance muffler.

Look like Mitas E-10 rears so prob 17" rear rims unless they have a early access to the 18's.
